Join us to hear from Pete Faulkner, Partner at Conus Business Consultancy Services, about the current employment conditions in North and Central Queensland, and the likely impact of COVID-19 on these regions. Pete will provide an overview of the main industry sectors providing employment in Townsville, Cairns, Mackay and Central Queensland, and the relative diversity of these regional economies. 

We’ll also hear from energy analyst David Leitch, Principal at ITK Services, about the importance of the energy transition and opportunities for new energy infrastructure in Queensland. 

Ellen Roberts, Solar Citizens’ National Director, will further discuss the opportunities for renewable energy recovery measures for Queensland – including making the most of our abundant solar and wind resources to power a revival in Australian manufacturing.
