Stop the Murdoch Press attack on solar

Stop the Murdoch Press attack on solar

Murdoch's media machine has launched another major attack on rooftop solar, with a blatant lie about the household cost of the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme. That's right – they're coming after the scheme we've fought so hard to protect [1].

Can you chip in to power the fight back and help take our community organising, research and media campaign to the next level this election?

This is what it will take, and we can only do it with your help:

  • Grassroots organising – we are growing our community action in Western Sydney and Northern Queensland, the energy battlegrounds where there’s the biggest potential for rooftop PV and large-scale solar – so far we've raised $7,000 of our $25,000 goal to hire a community organiser to support our work.
  • Analysis from energy experts – we’ve engaged the brightest minds in the industry to produce groundbreaking research which busts energy myths and tells the truth about Australia’s incredible solar potential – $500 allows us to roll out an information session to spread the truth about solar in a target electorate.
  • Media, advertising and persuasive conversationssolar citizens across the country are working hard to lead the energy debate; promoting our research and case studies in the media and local communities – a little goes a long way on social media and every single dollar helps us reach up to 30 new people via targeted advertising.
