Electric vehicles are the future: they can be powered by solar and wind, they help cut rising transport emissions, and are less expensive to run and maintain.

But Australia is lagging behind the rest of the world on EV uptake because electric cars are still not affordable or accessible for many Australians. With the upcoming budget, the SA Government has the opportunity to accelerate the switch to cleaner cars, or SA drivers will get left in the dust.
