Electric vehicles are the future: they can be powered by solar and wind, they help cut rising transport emissions, and are less expensive to run and maintain.

But Australia is lagging behind the rest of the world on EV uptake because electric cars are still not affordable or accessible for many Australians. States like Victoria and the ACT are starting to introduce incentives to bring down the costs of EVs. Now the NSW Government is gearing up to announce their own EV incentive package.
