The Victorian Government is just weeks away from introducing a new tax that will penalise electric vehicles (EVs). The legislation is expected to pass the Lower House on May 4th, but there's still time for it to be blocked by the Upper House.
That's why Solar Citizens will join with EV owners and supporters on May 4th for an action and press conference at Parliament House, to call on decision makers to block this backwards tax and instead support a broad package of reforms to decarbonise our transport system.
What: Action and press conference to stand up against the too-soon EV tax. The event will comply with Covid restrictions*. Please bring a mask and remember to social distance.

Who: Everyone who supports clean transport. You don’t need to have an EV, but if you do, let us know if you can bring it to the action.
