Together, Australia's 1.6 million solar homes and businesses are repowering our sunny country with renewable energy, rooftop by rooftop.

 It's Solar Citizens’ 4th birthday and to mark the occasion we’ve made a fun and quirky new video celebrating the people behind Australia’s rooftop revolution. 

Meet Paul, who runs his dairy farm on solar; Fay, whose bowls club boasts a huge community solar installation; Sarah, whose student housing cooperative powers eight units with solar and batteries; Laura, who powers her young family’s life with clean energy; and Coral who powers her inner-city terrace house with the sun.

From humble beginnings there are now 98,600+ Solar Citizens across the country, standing together to protect their rights and grow the solar revolution in Australia. It’s an impressive number but still only a fraction of the 5 million Australians living under a solar rooftop. Imagine what we could achieve if we brought hundreds of thousands more voices together!
