Australia's Energy Security Board is proposing that we pay to keep ageing coal and gas plants running - it's the exact opposite to what we should be doing to tackle the rising energy crisis. Instead of propping up coal and gas clunkers, we need to roll out cheap renewable energy and storage. 

Federal and State Energy Ministers have the power to block this 'coalkeeper' subsidy.
