Townsville is fast becoming the renewable energy capital of Queensland. The region is in the middle of an exciting building boom for solar farms, wind farms and even a pumped hydro power plant.
Solar Citizens Queensland coordinator Louise Matthiesson is visiting Townsville and will be providing an update for supporters on Wednesday 20th June. Your ideas for future activities are also welcome.
Louise will present our latest research on jobs and investment generated by renewables and give a run-down on the biggest renewable energy projects underway in north Queensland.
