The Solar Sharer Offer is available from 1 July 2026.
The Federal Government has directed all energy retailers in the National Energy Market (NEM) - which covers NSW, SA and SE Queensland to create a Solar Sharer Offer plan.

- Have a Smart Meter (if not, you can request one from your energy retailer)
- Contact your energy retailer (where your energy bill comes from) and OPT-IN to a Solar Sharer plan
The Australian Energy Regulator is rolling out free smart meters across NSW, SA and SE Queensland until 2030.
