Keep SOLAR ENERGY GOING!! before the non renewable fuels run out ….predicted date is 2030 only a short time left !!

It is so disheartening to think our representatives will ignore the overwhelming evidence from the scientific world, and continue to pander to vested interests. Population explosion is putting pressure on all our resources. We have to act now or face a bleak future.

This Liberal/National Party Federal Government is not interested in the ordinary person in the street struggling to pay their bills! They only interested in the powerful Energy Companies who wish to take away rebates for Solar panels and make a bigger profit for their shareholders who all live in Toorak and the North Shore!

Just what we expected from climate deniers who rate top scientists, inventors and innovators below sports and God and deem them not worthy of any sort of support from Australia . Its a disservice to us and continues the dumbing down of Australia. I
nevitable with this misguided attitude .

We took on solar to help us meet our bills even though we couldn’t really afford it but in the other way we couldn’t afford not to and now surprise they want to take it away thanks govt….

How would the energy companies react if all of us were to suddenly pull the plug on our solar panels from providing the grid any electricity? Would these companies be ever so happy to fork out the money to help expand their power stations? That would be in aid of coping with the sudden sharp increase in demand they’ll be left on their own to face in an ever so short space of time? Clearly they should thank Australia’s fastest growing back-up power stations: Solar panels!

A new power station from rooftops makes sense. Can we develop policies around building regulations that require solar to be fitted to all new roofs (and water catchment as well)? Complementary legislation should ensure ensure the Sun is never blocked from systems, or that an equivalent benefit is provided where new buildings shade a system.

So much sun & so much space, are we the most stupidest country in the world not pushing to harvest this energy… Australia could be a global leader if we had the balls.

More research and development dollars please, on the use of free energy. Because you know it makes sense

I just wish the Government would start to live in the modern age and start to realise the world is changing, technology has moved on. Industry’s that are not willing to move nor evolve or lead the way in to the future should go the way of the dinosaur. But also lets remember they will hold on the there old ways because that is the only way that they can think with there tunnel vision..

I bet they would be upset if they still had a horse and cart to travel around in while other people had a Car.
It is a shame that a country like ours has a huge amount of solar energy yet other country’s that are in the northern hemisphere are producing more Mw of solar energy than we are..

There are myths spread by some conservative politicians. Small scale Solar systems and their related RET scheme have not pushed up the price of electricity for everyone! This is not only a Myth its plan wrong ! Solar Powered systems on roofs in the suburbs, helps to decentralise electrical power delivery to the Grid. In fact therefore PV Solar reduces the need for more and bigger Power to address peak demand!. As decentralised Solar is available during peak demand periods (when its hot and AirCon is put on). So I note “We pay our line rental fees and provide others with power !” So scrapping the RET scheme makes no sense at all !

It is high time this country embraced solar energy on a much larger scale – it is something that every Australian can invest in and benefit from and that governments are not encouraging solar uptake further begs the question ‘who interest’s are they really supporting?’.

I hope this will get as much momentum as the movement against the mining tax. But this is coming from the other mob, not from supporters of the big miners!
