Thanks to Elon Musk, storage is on everyone's mind this week. What's more, the new energy policy released on Tuesday by the Weatherill government includes a major funding boost to renewable energy and storage across the state. But, they're late to the party.
The Port Augusta community has been campaigning for solar thermal for five years. Solar thermal in Port Augusta would not only mean jobs, it would also upgrade our state’s grid by providing reliable 24-hour solar power for all South Australians.
Will you chip in to help the Repower Port Augusta community campaign run this advertisement in the special Energy Dossier edition of The Advertiser? Premier Weatherill is sure to be watching the edition closely, and we need to raise $5,000 by close of business Thursday 16 March to ensure the community voices are represented alongside industry.
