Next year is the 2016 Federal election - a massive opportunity to make sure solar and renewables are high on the political agenda. Wouldn't it be great if Solar Citizens in Perth were organised and prepared?
On 29 September we’re holding the first ever Solar Citizens volunteer meeting in Perth to bring solar owners and supporters together to discuss how we can build a strong voice for solar in WA, especially in the leadup to the next election.
Come along to this meeting if you love solar and want to find out how you can get involved in Solar Citizens' exciting plans to protect and grow solar power in the leadup to the 2016 Federal election.
At the meeting we will be discussing key threats to solar at state and national levels and explore the opportunities to be a part of an effective national force to protect and expand solar power in the leadup to the 2016 Federal election. We will also spend some time discussing volunteer opportunities and how we can coordinate local efforts to have the biggest possible impact.
