For too long our federal leaders have used regional Queensland as a scapegoat for not introducing ambitious climate and clean energy policy – even though Queenslanders will benefit as more renewable energy projects and renewable-powered industries are rolled out across the Sunshine State.
In the lead up to next year's federal election and beyond we plan to build a strong community campaign for more clean energy and renewable-powered industry in Townsville: Queensland's biggest regional city. But the impact we can have and the size of our campaign depends on the size of our election fighting fund.
Can you chip in to help fund Townsville tactics in the lead up to the federal election? Together, we can revitalise Townsville's economy, show clean energy can power good regional jobs, and shift the national climate and energy conversation.
