Unfortunately, I can’t help with this, because I don’t have solar PV power! I just missed out when the government were assisting with them, and bought a new solar hot water system instead,
I didn’t vote for Can Do either, his eyes let me see right through him. He like many others are in for the betterment of themselves and what they can get, and screw you jack to the rest of the population.
If all owners of solar photovoltaic systems could be organised together, perhaps through social media or this web site, to disconnect collectively, the grid may be able to be brought to suffer a collapse.
The grid can’t handle large, sudden, changes in load very well; this usually isn’t an issue because the grid is so big, that large enough changes don’t happen. However, if, at a time when solar systems were producing a lot of electricity, that is, on a day when most of the state is sunny, all of those systems were disconnected at the same time, the grid system may be overloaded and unable to scale up quickly enough, and crash.
Such an event would make it clear to everyone, including the government, how reliant they are on the electricity produced by solar PV.
The very minimum that the government should be doing for solar PV owners is ensuring that any energy that they feed into the grid can be recovered from the grid by them when they need it, without financial penalty, so that they can use the grid for energy storage.
You too Mr Newman, it’s in YOUR interest too!

Privately generated solar power has saved the state governments significantly in new electricity generating infrastructure. Could this government be so economically unsavvy not to recognise their own statistics.
Seek a collective court action as they have done with the banks!
Every colonial (state) government are/is selling off public assets in order that THEY survive! The privatize public utilities, introducing shareholders then make YOU pay the shareholders.
YOU are SHAREHOLDERS, but YOU take back a small amount while constantly producing electricity. The government should govern to the best of their ability IN YOUR best interests!
Six state governments plus a federal government…thank you Mother England for bestowing this system upon us in the 1800’s but we can’t afford it any more…..

I had to come back to comment again. If this affects our house, they will get NOTHING from me with the FIT. I will turn on BOTH 8.1 kWh reverse cycled air conditioners to run 24/7, pull out every electrical item I packed away to keep costs down initially and bring them back into action, use my twin fan and twin element electrical oven more than the gas appliance. By the time I have finished with them, they will get dippity sh!t from me. And if that doesn’t use all my units that I feed in, I will switch off the 120l hot water system and plug in the 40l that can be connected to domestic tariff. If I don’t get anything from them for the $15,500 we paid out, I can guarantee they won’t either.
Those stupid contracts we all had to sign aren’t worth the paper they are written on.
Haven’t they heard of “breach of contract?”
The Government have proven without a shadow of a doubt that they are unable to manage on what the normal person gets as a pension, yet they are willing to strike us low earners and pensioners with more crippling fees and rips offs.
Yes a class action would be a great idea to stop them continuously taking from those who can ill afford it!
