Stand up for Solar: Candidates Forum on Solar Power for the Sunshine Coast

Monday September 2nd, 2013, 6.30 - 8pm

Lake Kawana Community Centre, 114 Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina

Sunshine Coast Solar Forum Flyer

Do you live in a solar powered home or want to one day?

Are you proud to work in the solar industry and want to see a bright future for our local solar industry?

Do you want to see the Sunshine Coast continue to lead the nation in the switch to solar and renewable energy?

Show your support for a sunny future.

Come along to this community forum to show the candidates for the federal seat of Fisher in the upcoming election that you want to see a bright future for solar on the Sunshine Coast and hear what they will do about solar power if they get elected.

Candidates will be asked what they will do to ensure solar power will continue to thrive on the Sunshine Coast, such as:

  • Do they support families right to connect their solar to the grid with no extra charges being levied by power companies?

  • Will they fight to ensure a healthy future for our local solar businesses?

  • Will they support aiming higher for our national Renewable Energy Target to keep encouraging the growth of our solar industry?

We need to know that our political representatives will stand up to the power companies, support renewable energy and help every Australian have the ability to put solar on their roof.

If you own solar, love solar or work in the solar industry, come along to this event to stand up for the future of solar on the Sunshine Coast.
