In the coming months of 2014 we’re holding the first ever Solar Citizens state volunteer meetings in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, to bring solar owners and supporters together to discuss how we can build a strong voice for solar in these states.

Over the past year we have heard from an overwhelming number of people saying they are keen to volunteer with Solar Citizens and be part of a group in their state. We now feel that the time is ripe to make these state groups happen.

Come along if you love solar and want to find out how you can get involved in Solar Citizens’ exciting plans to protect and grow solar power in 2014 and beyond.

At the meeting we will be discussing key threats to solar at state and national levels and explaining the new opportunities we have to be a part of an effective national force to protect and expand solar power. We will also spend some time discussing volunteer opportunities and how we can coordinate local efforts to have the biggest possible impact.
