How could i look my six month old baby boy in the eyes with honesty and integrity and say I am doing everything I can to make sure you have a better world without trying to make sure they keep the RET.

I will never support a politician that doesn’t embrace renewable energy, especially solar power…..and I usually try to stay away from using the ‘never’ word.

all politicians should be pushing for renewable energy. Endorse clean solar power, cut out coal fired dirty electricity production. Stand up to Energex , AGL etc . Endorse the RET and give a fair price for FIT.

It looks as if Labie could renege on her promise to block all LNP legislation. We must hold her to her promise. We have to impress upon her that such a betrayal of the RET will erode her credibility. Remind her that public respect is hard to earn abut much easier to lose.

This visit to persuade the politicians is vital. All the horse trading of votes and comments are simply beside the point. We have to insist on a long-term vision for utilizing renewable energy for our children and grandchildren. The RET is not a political football, it is the key to long term jobs growth in clean,technologically sophisticated industries which will generate sustainable employment and innovation.Anything less than the full maintenance of the current RET is unacceptable, especially when the rest of the world is accelerating their efforts as we drop behind.
