Canberra Stand up for Renewables - Solar Citizens

Canberra Stand up for Renewables

On Friday 19th August, the Council of Australian Governments will meet in Canberra to discuss the future of renewables in Australia.

Following the energy crisis in SA, vested interests have been hard at work beating up renewables and incorrectly blaming them for rising power costs. So when COAG meets, lets make sure they see the strong support for solar and renewables in the community!

Solar Citizens and Friends of the Earth are calling on community members who support renewables and a just transition to join us for a SNAP RALLY at the National Convention Centre Canberra on Friday 19 August

With your help we'll call for state and federal energy ministers to stand up and support a transition to 100% renewable energy.

It's time for COAG to back a policy agenda that delivers 100% renewable power by 2030, strengthens the NEM, and supports state governments to pursue ambitious renewable energy targets.

UPDATE: Time of the rally will be 10:15! Please meet us at 10:15 outside the National Convention Centre
